Summer Vacation

It may be hot outside, but Aunt Jenn's got that covered... or at least saturated.

Norah, Sarah & Ethan showed Alexander all around the splash pad at their favorite community park!

Unfortunately, the boy was TIRED. He really enjoyed the splash pad, but he was very interested in escaping toward the 3rd degree burn sliding boards. He passed out in the car on the way home & is sleeping soundly in Norah's bed now (Norah wanted to crawl up with him, but settled for her sister's bed in the same room. How sweet!)

On the way home, Ethan, the recently licensed backseat driver, asked, "Does that lady in front of us even know how to drive?" And easily accepted the excuse that she's, "A woman driver."

Every Wednesday, Aunt Jenn hires a babysitter... so this week when the babysitter arrived, we took the two littlest cutesos, walked/jogged two miles around the Army War College Links and then headed to our favorite store to return an ill-fitted bathing suit.

Forgot to return the suit, but we did hit clearance toy heaven and finished up the majority of our Christmas shopping... well, those of us that celebrate with presents finished up our shopping. Alexander was a big help carrying everything to the car!
