Daddy turned 33 this week! Can you believe it? Alexander could, but he would believe just about anyone was turning 33 so he could enjoy the cake!

Darn'dest Things: Zoo

This evening William un-stuck the brown giraffe from the living room wall, and Alexander said, "I guess it's not zoo time now." And I replied, "No, it's time to take brother to the zoo & leave him there." (I was kidding, William.)

Alexander shook his head, like he knew I was joking, so I said it again, but this time I said, "And we'll leave him there!" Alexander said, "NO!" Well, why not?

"Because brother is the awesomest babbbb(unintelligible brother-ese)."

The conversation continued, and Alexander insisted we should take baby brother to the zoo, because he's so cute, so all the people can see him. But that we should bring him home, because.... we'll he couldn't elaborate past awesomest.

Baby Talk

With all this baby talk, and the fact that I can't imagine my own babies that tiny, I scrolled back to try to remember.

Follow this link to reminisce with me about Alexander's first few months alive (apparently, I was too busy to blog often back then...), http://eesm.blogspot.com/2009/03/im-back-bold-statement-after-just-one.html.

I'm Here, And I'm Hungry

Baby J

Ella's baby brother, John Robert, was born January 23 @ 1:07pm, with just two pushes and a hello. Baby J weighed 7.5 pounds and measured 20.5 inches, and looked absolutely adorable in his Wheeling Hospital fatigues. Welcome to the Wild & Wonderful, baby!

Darn'dest Things: Boxer Briefs

Alexander got some new "manly" underwear, adorned with video game remote controllers last weekend. When he pulled them on this morning he said quietly, to himself, "stylish." Ha!
