The Aftermath: Pumpkin Disease

Did you  know Halloween can give you the pumpkin disease? Yeah, it remarkably easy to catch. Most children bring the germ home from preschool parties, hidden in their treat bags, but don't normally break out in purple pumpkins until their Mama's are in the shower. Yeah, it's bad. Watch out for those purple pumpkins.

And, of course, there was some more treating and eating at school yesterday. All the little monsters dressed up, walked around the school to spook up even more candy and treats from their friends' teachers and then stuffed themselves on pizza AND cookies. Oh, the sugar high. As soon as we got home Alexander got home he said, surprisingly, "I'm going to bed now." Halloween at the Good Zoo

There might not be many mild days left in 2013, so the boys and Mama are taking advantage of the good ones. Every day last week we made a mini-adventure somewhere outside, we even made it to the zoo... and every day since, Alexander's asked to go back...

It looks like William wasn't with us, but he was just napping in the stroller for most of the visit...
