Trick My Treat

Darn'dest Things; ABC's

Alexander woke up crying in the night for the first time in... a while last night. I intercepted him in the hallway on the way to our room & took him back to his new bedroom to find his binkie. But he grabbed his pillow & said he wanted to go to our bed.

We all know that wasn't going to happen, so he reluctantly cuddled up in his own bed, and said (thru his stinky binkie), "Sing ABCs."

"What?"

"Sing ABCs."

And out he went.

Darn'dest Things; Tank

"Tell Daddy Michele's water broke @ 3 last night," Mama said laying in bed with Alexander & Daddy Sunday morning.

"Daddy, Michele's tank broke. Michele's tank broke at her home," he said.

Well, he was right... But not sure when the boy started using his noggin' to compare babies to fish (in tanks).

Wee Two or Treat

At first the kid refused to wrastle on his costume, "I don't want to be a cowboy. I want to be Alesandr!" But then his Wee Two teacher mentioned something about trick-or-treating around the school and candy. That did the cowboy trick.

(If i can ever figure out how to blur faces in a video, I will upload today's Good Morning Song. Alexander couldnt take his eyes off his buddy's lollypop. But he didn't grab it, and he sat thru the whole song, so... success?)

After collecting a variety of yummy snacks from the teachers & students around the school, the kiddos went back to their classroom for songs & story. Alexander was the best behaved & participated more than ever! It was fabulous; I will have to give him a bag a treats every week!

And then came snack time. Hoy vey. Carmelized rice crispy/candy corn treats, cute pumpkin sugar cookies and juice. The juice went into hiding, but the boy downed nearly two cookies before coming up for air & demanding his costume come off. And then back on. And then off. The boy seriously becomes irrational after a little sugar; how will he ever operate in this family?

Darn'dist Things

Mama, "Don't you want to be a Cowboy, Alexander?"
The boy nearly in tears, "No! I want be Alesandr!"
So much for dressing up for Halloween!
