Happy Father's Day, Daddy!

We love our Daddy. He is Uncle Denis. He works, at his work. He plays bridge contest with me. Daddy doesn't have a mustache, just a wallet. Alexander's just three, I that was the best I could get out of him on the subject of his daddy. But I'm pretty sure, if he could concentrate, he would have said how much he loves going on a picnic with his Daddy. And about how awesome it is when his daddy takes him into the forest to throw rocks over a waterfall, make & float boats down the stream and then let him pee off the top of a very tall pillar...

We love you Daddy. Lots & lots!

All Grown Up

Congratulations Julie!

Julie graduated from high school last weekend! Can you believe it? It doesn't seem that long ago that we spotted the two little neighbor girls eyeing us as we moved in. One talked, and the other just watched.

Julie was probably only 14 when we moved in. She's 18 now, and talks a whole lot more. She also loves Alexander. As soon as A was old enough to tackle, Julie became his best friend.

Julie loved him so much, I'm not even sure she was embarrassed at the bus stop when her one-boy fan club screamed, "Jew-Weee. Jew-Wee!" Every morning... So it was fitting that the boy would cheer her on as she crossed the stage & collect her diploma last weekend too. Seriously, waving, yelling, "Jew-Wee. Jew-Wee!" (Can you see him waving in the picture above?)

The excitement got to be a little much during the speakers, so Daddy took the boy out for a little pre-Julie graduating Phineas & Ferb...

But they came back in just in time to see Julie cross the stage... Yeah!

And then this week we celebrated!

And the BFF that Julie is, she spent much of her party chasing, tickling & introducing Little A to all of her friends. Seriously, what a wonderful neighbor (family)!

Despite all the fun, we didn't want to push our luck, so we brought the boy's home... a half an hour after bedtime, but just in time for some heavy rain & their first double rainbow! Now, that's some good graduating luck!

Congratulations Julie, and good luck @ West Liberty University!
