A Picnic on Clearshade Creek: 40 Years, 2 Kids and 6 Grandkids = One Happy Couple

Grandma & Grandpa have been married for 40 years! 40 years! And because the Leventry clan will bake a cake for much lesser occasions, we got together last weekend to celebrate with not just cake, but 2 pies to temp even the weakest gallbladders in the bunch.

As always the food was delicious (& prepared in mass, varying quantities), the children were delightful and Aunt Connie's hospitality was the best. We are so lucky to have such a wonderful, fun and grubby family to grow up/old in; and we can place the blame (thanks) squarely on Grandma & Grandpa's 40-year foundation. Congratulations and we love you!
