Summer with Saveliy: YMCA Swim Lessons

What would summer be without swimming? Perfect you say? Well, Mama would agree, but these boys seem to love it, so we signed them up for even more swimming lessons.

Ms. Jill was strict, and a wonderful teacher for our rowdy boys. Unfortunately, our lessons were cut a little short when Mama, with William on her back, had a(nother) gall bladder attack. No fun. Luckily, our boys did a wonderful job taking care of Mama & William while I was out of commission.

Summer with Saveliy: Wheeling Park Sandbox

Very, very soon, these children will be school children with a proper school year and an ever shortening summer. In less than a month Alexander will be starting public preschool with a four-day-a-week schedule. Wha-what?

So, we play. 80% of the ol' Baby Mama Club reconvened at the Wheeling Park Sandbox, children in tow to re-live the good old baby days (next week we'll be a whole 100% and counting. Woot, woot.).

William wore his vintage, Jenny Brown-made, Alexander-wore CCCP sweater to relive the past (with a Handmade Escapade t-shirt under to live in the moment, of course). Holy moly, these children are so very different than they were... last year. And so are us Mamas (& Papas).
