Now lay in it.

The babes & I took full advantage of the beautiful blue before the flood today.

After a quick trip to Lowes, we dug out all of our flower beds, turned in some fresh peet moss & then wiggled our toes in the lovely, cool dirt.

Alexander climbed up & down the front steps, waving at every passing dog & baby, while I weeded the front flower beds. We brought the slide outside, but with all the available dirt, Z wasn't too interested.

With all fun available outside, the little dirt ball wasn't too interested in napping today either... after only an hour and a half, the boy was up & ready to get back outside!

After school, Z's entourage arrived and it was time for bubbles, stray cats, wagon rides & the neighbor's dogs. Alexander has to be the most loved baby this side of Edgwood!

Unfortunately, the weather turned sour shortly after Papa got home. The boys, unaware of the weekend's weather forecast, were planning an Oglebay hike with Granny & Grandpy and their new baby backpack. Well, there's always next weekend!
