Thanksgiving in Brooklyn'd

Although I touched on our fabulous n'D trip in the craftsuki.com post, we had such a wonderful time, I thought I should elaborate...

Babushka Anna made a beautiful, albeit nontraditional, Thanksgiving table for us on Thursday. Baby Boris was bouncing around in Russian heaven, along with his papa & his smitten babushkas.

The babe ate so much Cutleta & mushrooms that he ended up spitting up the rest of the night! Kind of gross, yes, but it didn't deter him from gorging on the mushrooms the next morning, noon & night!

After our tasty dinner, Mama Zoya, Babushka Anna & Z strolled around Sheepshead Bay groovin' on the cemented nature.

Alexander warmed to Mama Zoya quickly, and Zoya was so happy she came back each afternoon to play with the little fella.

Again this visit, Anna collected a roomful of hand-me-down toys from her nurses, co-workers & friends to send home with Alexander. Oh my goodness, Anna's friends are so generous and Alexander is so lucky to have such beautiful ladies thinking about him!

Babushka Anna had cleaned many of the little toys & laid them out around the apartment to delight the babes when he arrived; her plan worked perfectly!

But as soon as Z saw the Zebra... drunken bull-riding training began. Of course the little man wasn't drunk, but when he's tired he's just about as clumsy!

"I just want to eat him up," is just about all Cousin H had to say as she pinched, squeezed & loved all over our little chubb. Can't blame her, Alexander is pretty damn cute!

Toward the end of our visit Alexander was starting to get a little "Apartment Fever," which, like everything else was cute-as-can-be!

On our way back home, we stopped off in Carlisle to drop off a few street finds/toys/pack-n-plays; but we only stayed long enough to miss everyone even more!
