Since 1906, The West Alexander Fair

Last night we watched our favorite, "Borat" with Maia... so today, we decided to take her to a real U.S and A Rodeo. Unfortunately, there was no Kazakh to sing the national anthem, but it was pretty fun anyway!

The boy wore his camo pants yesterday, so I went with second best & put his monster truck hoodie on for his first visit to the county fair... unfortunately, it was a little warm, so he was stuck wearing a shirt touting the benefits of Broccoli...

The Rodeo started out with a little baby wranglin'. Maia wasn't too sure what to think... so I just promised Alexander that he could participate next year.

The boy is on the go. He refuses to sit still in public anymore. At church, at the Rodeo, that boy just has to explore!
Right after a 7'7" Cowboy wrangled the toughest looking bull in the bunch, the boy got so excited, he pitched his sippy cup into the ring. Yep, right in. The local police officer must have been watching, cause he quickly came up & asked us to back away from the fence. We did. Hide behind the Papa.
