Everyone Knows it's Windy

"Sunshine, lollipops and rainbows, Everything that's wonderful is what I feel when we're together, Brighter than a lucky penny, When you're near the rain cloud disappears, dear, And I feel so fine just to know that you are mine"

Although it's windy & chilly today, Daddy is home, so we have reason to celebrate! And what better way to celebrate a lovely Sunday morning than a Sunday drive in the country to look for Mooka (that's cow for those of you not fluent in Italian...)! Alexander originally asked to see Elephants, but he agreed to settle for cows. And we even got an Egret & Wild Turkey bonus!

After driving away from the Turkey, Alexander made up the story that the "chicken" went off to jump in a puddle... ??? Our boy sure has a great imagination! And although our morning started out hiding in the car from the chilly April winds, Daddy reminded us that this would be the perfect afternoon to fly a kite. And, as luck would have it, Mama had a Winnie-the-Pooh kite tucked away in the back seat for just such an occasion!

In addition to blowing the kite all over the place, the wind was blowing the kiddo also; he wasn't a huge fan... but agreed to a few more minutes of kite flying while Mama held him!
