A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood

To combat the impending winter boredom, Alexander & Mama made a quick trip to the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum late last week. The boy, of course, loved it.

During the trolley ride over to the Display Building, I asked Alexander if he'd ever been in that building before. He answered, "Yes. With Daddy." True.

Then the kid added, "I worked there with Daddy.  (Which might help explain the above video.) My funny daddy."

Interested, I asked why was his Daddy funny? The answer, "Cause Daddy knocks blocks down at my preschool." Not so much true. But Alexander did ask Daddy to knock over some blocks at home tonight...
