Alexander celebrated his first Mardi Gras with the Krewe on St. Charles this week, and it was awesome! Well, I had fun. Alexander, he got an education. And Daddy, he enjoyed helping Ander climb up & down the ladders, strolling the kid around the block & catching only the finest beads for the kid's neck. Thanks Papa!
Alexander's favorite part? Surprisingly, not hording all the plush throws, but distributing the loot back out to all the cute, scantily clad majorettes when they marched by. Seriously, everything you gave him, he'd stick right back out to give away... Sound like Bingo Bob?
Unfortunately, we only had a partial krewe on St. Charles for our return to Mardi Gras; Captain Ronnie had to work... bummer!
Luckily, Ellen's sister, nieces & Maia were there to pick up some of the slack.

Mama LOVES our spot in front of the Daquari Shop. Unfortunately, our stilted, top hat-wearing DJ was hiding in the background this year after a death in the family earlier this week. Sadness.
And then there was naptime on St. Charles...
