Better Late Than Never: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles And Alexander, #5: The Sewer

Aunt Jenn's cakes... crazy awesome. Seriously. I wish she could make a business of this passion of hers. She's quite talented, and fortunately, our family reaps the benefit. Thank you Aunt Jenn!

And thank you to the Children's Museum of the Ohio Valley for the completely convenient, clean and oh-so-yellow venue for Alexander's 5th birthday TMNT party! It's wonderful to host a preschool party that requires NO organization. Because, really, how do you organize the un-organizable?

And, thank you to JB, Stretch, Dana, Small Liam, Daddy and Alexander (but not William) for helping set everything up (in a super-hurry) minutes before (and after) the party-animals started to arrive.

Last year the party was on the main floor of the museum, this year we were offered a separate room down and around the back of the museum. I liked it, and I didn't. Since we use the museum AS the party, it was wonderful last year to have all the treats and cake right in the middle of the party. But this year the party room was completely separate from the party, which was nice because we could set up a little early and sing Happy Birthday 3 times without disturbing the other patrons. But, not-so-nice because guests had to walk down to drop coats, get a drink or retrieve coats and I had to keep running back and forth fetching gift bags and balloons for friends as they left. Of course, if we weren't moving, we would party there again next year, but...

And thank you to all of Alexander's friends (and mine) for celebrating with us AND bringing so many totally awesome gifts! Thank you! You're radical, dude!
