Happy Birthday, Brother! Can you believe William is a year old? A year! Alexander can't believe it either; he thinks baby brother should be three already. OK, that's kinda Mama's fault. I told A that William was turning one, and he wouldnt be a baby any more. Well, that's all Alexander had to hear. He's ready for a playmate. Everyday since the baby turned one, Alexander has gotten out of bed, checked out his brother's crib and looked for a walking, talking best friend. Very soon, buddy.
As much as William liked "Happy Birthday," he DID NOT like the cake. Even Cheerios couldnt convince him to take a bite. I can't blame him, despite what Alexander thought, it wasnt that delicious.
But a banana, that's something this baby can celebrate with! William's been evaluated by a developmental & speech therapist to help him expand his palette... to cake. So, maybe next year he'll try something other than a banana.
