Alexander's first train ride was a squishing success! He loved it. We loved it. It was awesome! And then the kid took a nap... But not for long, we had a train to ride!
Before the train arrived at the station, the boys walked a short way up the track to lay out all of Daddy's spare change. You know, to see what would happen.
"All aboard! All aboard! Tickets please!"
Grandpa spent a lot of time riding trains with his mother when he was a boy, so he was almost as excited as Alexander to be on a rickety old train (again).
