Firecracker, Firecracker, boom, boom, boom

Our only firecracker yesterday... a beauteous onion.
Stretch harvested our first onion yesterday; and it made a yummy addition to D's shashlik.

And the deer have been harvesting our morning glorys.... JB came up with an ingenious idea to knit a web designed to catch the deer before the come into the yard for their midnight snack...

And our cabbages our finally ready for harvest. JB promises to make halushki for us today, to celebrate our western PA American heritage. Oh, what a delicious heritage!

I think he's gonna look so cute with a Mohawk someday... I know where they're always on sale...Grandpa?

Zaney started out in the middle on the great Molly-made blanket, and scooted himself over to his new favorite snack. Grass. This boy needs to stop hanging out with the Nut!

"No pictures, please."
JB & Stretch are back until mid-August... Let the shenanigans begin!
