Usually, I approach the West Virginia Master Naturalist classes, held at the Oglebay Good Zoo, with a "it'll make me a better mom, my kids'll think I'm nature smart when I can id that tow-stripe salamander," but last weekend I just approached it with tippie toes and excitement. I got to go into the West Virginia River Otter exhibit and take pictures, Wowza.
Jenny Brown (& Peanut) hates this kind of stuff, but I found myself wishing Alexander were with me at class many times on Sunday, because he would have loved it! To see his Mama in in the Otter enclosure, FEEDING Otters swimming as fast as rockets. Love.
