Mardi Gras at Easter Seals

It wasn't quite Louisiana, but it was fun. To celebrate Mardi Gras in the Wild and Wonderful this year, Alexander made bead dogs for all of his friends, Mama read The Amazing Adventure of the Mardi Gras Bead Dog to all of his Easter Seals friends, we passed out beads and we served King Cake to all his classmates.

Better Late Than Never: Everyone Poops

Since not all of Alexander's classmates could attend his party, Jenny Brown offered to go into school and read a book as a special birthday treat for the whole class. And since we, endearingly, refer to our boys as "Stinker Pants" and Alexander, daily, announces he's going to do "your favorite," we thought it only reasonable to send JB to school with a copy of Everyone Poops.

Great success. Who knew (ok, we did). Poop.
