To escape the non-stop crying, we headed to the park (after stopping for a caffeinated beverage) to play through our frustration.
Sand makes everyone happy, right?![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhQ5OswnpSngJjMey4VrowqMa4MWBK-jrDeGYZct05lyeZQi2fJpVPbSN7S-dO4mlBWSjXPpe0_Hr5ckMUKmxst-vuSzpcfIkxQEF0oX6Xrlf0km71H9EIWmGaWAP1mNz_mAB5Q-bMTXrw/s400/IMG_1653.JPG)
And then we walked around the lake a few times, trying hard to stomp through every ill-placed pile of goose pooh. Ugh. And then we found the sleeping ducks; "Duck!" And for those of you wondering, the Wheeling Park ducks, apparently, refuse to get out of bed until around 10am.We even saw a h.u.g.e bull frog.
And on the way up the hill to pick up our lady and take her to the hospital, we saw a six-fuzzy-point deer. Good times.
