Baby Zander goes zaney for Watermelon! Daddy let him taste it when we were in Carlisle last month and Zander is hooked! If he spies anything red, he starts going bonkers trying to get a bit. I guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree...



Too bad our lil' farmer isn't going to remember the summer Grandma Jenny & Papa Stretch spent with us in the Wild & Wonderful state of West Virginia. 'Cause it's been less than a week and we're having a wild time & wondering what's gonna happen next!

We couldn't think of a more appropriate way to celebrate our Independence than to pluck a cabbage from our Victory Garden & make a lil' Western PA Haluski. Yum; good job Brown!

But the garden looked so empty without our lovely head of cabbage, so we planted the cutest lil' cabbage patch baby we could find!

It wasn't fun for too long... but the lovely daddy came to the rescue & promised the lil' guy that we wouldn't let JB serve him with butter & noodles!
