"So Long, It's Been Good to Know Yuh!"
-Woody Guthrie
What better way to fare thee well then with some good 'ol Merican bag pipes, right? Congratulations Maia! (and thank you Joe:).
After serving Aunt Jenn's delicious Cat In The Hat Cake, Grandpa flagged down the ice cream truck and bought all the kiddos ice cream. Isn't he awesome?
(Thank you Grandpa!)
Graduation Day- You Did It, Maia!
(You survived a year in the American Public School System!)
Alexander couldn't sit still long enough to enjoy Maia's entrance, with the other graduates, into the arena; but he (in)appropriately started yelling "Maia" as soon as things started to quiet down. That's my boy... Then Daddy took him out to walk along the river...
Without a nap, and after a very eventful graduation party the night before, Alexander passed out shortly after Maia received her diploma, so we didn't get any pictures as a family with the graduate. Sadness. But we did enjoy playing with the hose when we got home...
Leaving, on a Jet Plane
All my bags are packed I'm ready to go
I'm standin' here outside your door
I hate to wake you up to say goodbye
But the dawn is breakin' it's early morn
The taxi's waitin' he's blowin' his horn
Already I'm so lonesome I could die
I'm standin' here outside your door
I hate to wake you up to say goodbye
But the dawn is breakin' it's early morn
The taxi's waitin' he's blowin' his horn
Already I'm so lonesome I could die
Cause I'm leavin' on a jet plane
Don't know when I'll be back again
Oh babe, I hate to go
Don't know when I'll be back again
Oh babe, I hate to go
