Unfortunately, Mama was feeling pretty lazy after a long morning drive into Carlisle, so I didn't take too many pictures... oh well. Hopefully I can steal some from Grandma....

Digger & Dirt Ball
Earlier this month Alexander carried a birhtday present to his friend. He didn't quite understand or like that it wasn't his birthday. Or that he couldn't open the present. Of course, it was no consilation to assure him that we would celebrate his birthday in the dead of winter, six months from now.
But I asked what he would want as a gift anyway. His answer? To ride on a tractor with all his friends. That's not a winter sport, right? So instead of wrapping it up with a bow in the snow, grandpa just took Alexander for a quick trip to Camp Go In It & a fun ride on grandpa's newest toy; a John Deere Digger! Thanks Grandpa!
And if the boy wasn't dirty enough after moving some dirt, Grandma took him to the "sandbox" to move some stones. Good times.
Luckily, Grandma volunteered to clean him the kid up (and feed him some watermellon). I think she just didn't want Grandpa to win too many extra points with the tractor ride... she did a good job tieing things up...

Alexander Bean Bags
Mama's on a mission; teach the boy to spell his name. This is no easy task, the kid's name is nine letters long... and there is an "X." Luckily, after a few days of playing with his new Alexander fridge magnets, the little booger can identify the "A," "E," & "R." But that's not enough, so today we crafted again...
And this evening, the kiddo is the proud new owner of a kid-stenciled set of Alexander bean bags.. And, yes, that is Alexander's baby brother, aka, Mama's Belly, in the picture above...
