Fort Henry Days x2

Alexander spent last Labor Day weekend checking out the local Indians and learning a little about West Virginian history, but we're pretty sure he doesn't remember... so we went back up the hill to Fort Henry Days @ Oglebay again this year!

Pretty sure he liked it! I was a little concerned that the cannons, gunfire & yelping might scare the little guy, but luckily he was so enthralled in the battle, he didn't even blink!

Listen very closely at the beginning of this video, and you can hear the little guy saying, "Uh, oh. Uh, oh." He was sharing his concern that the Indians & their allies were about to knock down the gates protecting the "good guys" in Fort Henry.

I don't think Papa was anywhere near as impressed with the bark tee pee as I was. It was so cool, they straightened the bark, how cool is that?
